Giving Hope in Eastern Europe
As a ministry with a broad, world-wide base of active, front-lines Christian leaders, ministers and “harvesters,” we are always excited to hear about the creative ways people use Bibles and biblical literature distributed by EEM. Here is a story from a small, but very active organization that has unique ways of “giving” hope in Eastern Europe.
I am writing you this letter with feelings of gratitude and joy because of our cooperation with your organization. Every time we request your literature, not only do you deliver it, but to abundance!
We recently had an idea for a new project, “Boxes of Hope.” We fill boxes with groceries and other necessary living items and take them to the most remote villages in our region to bring them to families who have all but lost hope. As soon as we started this project, we realized that biblical literature is something else that these people need to receive in their boxes of hope! We have always been about preaching Jesus, praying together and supporting these people. Now, in each box of hope, we include a New Testament!
It’s through projects like this that we are able to build good rapport and relationships with these people, and now we are able to continue with them on their spiritual journey as well.
This project has only scratched the surface of what we feel God’s plan is for these people, but we are already seeing some amazing results! Thank you so much, fellow harvesters of God’s people, for your participation with us!
We were also able to present camp manuals to kids at summer camp! The main theme of this year’s camp was “Add Colors”, and we felt the title of “Live Colors of Love” was more than appropriate!
Finally, I just want to say again that to be able to partner with EEM and the extraordinary efforts you put forth is a huge blessing! Your responsibility and professionalism make you amazing to work with!
This organization does outreach to orphans, broken families and the poor.
