EEM recently received the following letter from a man from Konstantinovka, a small town in Donetsk region , after he received a small shipment of biblical literature for his community.
“Peace be upon you God’s children! I wish with all my heart to thank you for your kindness and mercy to us, and for your gift to our local church Nesterovtsy. Literature is very useful to the members of the Church and for those that do not yet know the Lord. I especially send out a special thanks for the book “The Bible for Young Readers,” which I have long searched for. With three children under the age of 6, it is extremely helpful finding a book where your own words do not have to be added. Even though the bag weighs twenty-four kilograms (53 pounds) with the books, it will be carried on foot to the evening service. This joy cannot be just kept to my home! Once again thank you for your hard work and to everyone that is involved! Bless you!”
“Konstantinovka is a small town in the Donetsk region, right now it is the border town between Ukraine and the Donetsk People Republic. There are many refugees here, as well as people from Donetsk who are going back and forth from the DPR territory to the Ukrainian territory in order to buy food and bring it back to Donetsk (there is a lack of groceries in Donetsk and prices are more expensive). The Local Church is staying active in helping people in need and EEM literature has become important support for them.”
